Ups and downs, left turns and right, I’m trying to navigate my way through what’s left of my life with humor intact.  Dilated Cardiomyopathy (DCM) and Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) are two of the many obstacles life has placed in the road.

There are no illusions of grandeur about “beating this” or overcoming the obstacles, but instead by laughing in spite of them. I’m a realist with the flair of an optimist at times so my posts may be boring and factual, or eye-rolling melodramatic.

I’d love it if you would ride along with me and share your thoughts. After all, the joy is in the journey!

  2. Absolutely. Let this be a place where you can find support, kind words and release. No one can quantify the good that does for the body and soul.

  3. Hello, I’m just peeking in to see how you are. No need to reply if you aren’t up to it – just press like or something. An orange dot on the bell is worth a thousand hello’s, as they say. (Ok, its what I say, haha!)

  4. I pray for you. I have neurocardioginic syncope and there are no answers. One day at a time one hour at a time. One minute at a time. Do as much as you can to make you happy. I’m sorry for your illness. Do as much as you can to help your healrh. And may God take care of the rest. When I have a good day I do all I can. When I have a bad day I just try and rest to give my body a chance to catch up. I used to do 10 things at once. Acceptance of my disorder is the hardest part. Hang in and try to be positive. It helps others.

    1. Artie! 🙂 I have been away for a while, doing my best Wonder Woman impersonation to fend off pesky challenges that would otherwise threaten my well-being. I’ve had a rest and I’m back, looking forward to catching up on your blog!
